OGHA DIRECTS REVENUE AGENTS ON PROCESSED WOOD TO MAINTAIN STATUS QUO, MAINTAIN PEACE
As part of its quasi-judicial function towards promoting peace and tranquility in all parts of Ogun State, the State House of Assembly through its Committee on Trade and Investment has directed the leaderships of the State Association of Processed Wood Sellers as well as Processed Wood Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria to maintain status quo ante, until the conclusion of the pending court case involving the two parties in relation to revenue collection. The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Kemi Oduwole issued the directive during the consideration of a petition at the instance of the State Association of Proceeed Wood Sellers, which had the State Commissioner for Forestry, Mr. Tunji Akinosi in attendance at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
