OGHA PASSES RESOLUTION REQUESTING RELEASE OF AGO-IWOYE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL TO OOUTH FOR BETTER HEALTH CARE
Ogun State House of Assembly today passed a resolution seeking an urgent need for the release of the Ago-Iwoye Community Hospital to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu to for effective management and revitalization in rendering quality health care delivery to the people of Ago-Iwoye and environment. The passage of the resolution sponsored by Hon. Olusegun Kaka Odunuga, followed the motion for the adoption of debate by lawmakers moved by the sponsor, seconded by the Minority Leader Lukman Adeleye and supported by the whole House through a unanimous voice vote. Opening debate on the motion, Hon. Odunuga explained that the hospital, when fully functional, would serve the healthcare needs of Ago-Iwoye residents and adjoining communities; saying that it was the decision of all stakeholders and residents of his constituency to push for the release of the facility to OOUTH for better health care service delivery.
