OGUN SPEAKER TASKS CDHR ON INTER- RELIGIOUS ENGAGEMENTS TO CURB RITUAL KILLINGS, OTHERS The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, has condemned the rise in social vices especially ritual killings, cultism and drug abuse amonsgt others, with a charge on all stakeholders to step up inter-religious campaigns towards curbing the menace in the society. OGUN ASSEMBLY DIRECTS PHYSICAL PLANNING MINISTRY TO ISSUE POLYSMART TITLE DOCUMENTS WITHIN 15 DAYS

Ogun State House of Assembly has passed a resolution directing the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development to as a matter of urgency order the appropriate department responsible for the processing of building approval to process and issue building approval to Polysmart Packaging Limited within fifteen working days from the passage of this resolution. The passage of the resolution followed a motion moved by the Majority Leader, seconded by the Chief Whip, Tinuke Bello, shortly after the presentation of the report of the House Committee on Justice, Ethics and Public Petitions by its Chairman, Solomon Osho, who thereafter moved the motion for its adoption, seconded by Hon. Damilola Soneye and supported by other lawmakers at a plenary presided over by Speaker Olakunle Oluomo at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. OGUN ASSEMBLY SUMMONS SUSPECTED LAND GRABBERS

Ogun State House of Assembly through its Committee on Lands and Housing has summoned five members of the Ogundare family over alleged land grabbing activities on a parcel of land situated at Rounda area of Abeokuta.  The Chairman of the Committee, Damilola Soneye issued the summon while considering a petition written against the members of the family at the Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.  Soneye, who noted that their activities were against the peace and tranquility of the State, thereafter directed Jinadu Ogundare, Jamiu Ogundare, Jelili Ogundare, Ayilara Ogundare and Mukaila Ogundare to appear before the lawmakers on Tuesday, 8th February, 2022 by 2pm; failure to which would lead to the issuance of an arrest warrant against them by the Assembly.
