AJAX FC EMERGES 2022 EGBA YOUTH CUP WINNER, AS HON. ADEJOJO CHARGES YOUTH ON PRODUCTIVITY



Ajax FC has emerged the winner of the annual Egba Youth football Competition defeating TRACE FC; thus clinched the prime price of One Hundred Thousand Naira from the Yusuf Adejojo Foundation

The Egba Youth football final event which took place at the Main-bowl of the Muda Lawal Stadium Aṣero Abeokuta had in attendance the cash prize Sponsor, Hon Yusuf Adejojo who is a Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Abeokuta I State Constituency and Director of Yusuf Adejojo Foundation and many stakeholders in the football business 

Adejojo appreciated the organizers and participants on the good conduct throughout the competition, imploring the youth of Abeokuta and its environs to shun all forms of violence and therefore invest their energy and resources in activities that could add more values to their future.

Assuring of more supports in the upcoming editions, t
he lawmaker assured the athlete of engaging necessary stakeholders including the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on the present state of the Muda Lawal Stadium, adding that the facility remain significant having being named after the legendary footballer.

The organisers of the competition  appreciated Honourable Adejojo and his foundation for their financial support towards the successful hosting of the competition.

428 OGUN PILGRIMS RETURN FROM HAJJ 2025, LAND SAFELY IN NIGERIA

The first batch of Ogun State pilgrims who participated in the 2025 Hajj exercise have safely arrived back in Nigeria. The returnees, numbering 428, touched down at exactly 4:28 p.m. Nigerian time (6:28 p.m. Saudi time), following a successful take-off from Jeddah Airport at 12:07 p.m. Saudi time (10:07 a.m. Nigerian time). This development was confirmed in a statement personally signed by the Amirul Hajj and leader of the Ogun State contingent, Alhaji Prince Samsudeen Adebayo Apelogun, who described the return as a significant milestone in the State’s 2025 Hajj operations. OGHA DIRECTS OJIBAS NIGERIA LTD, I.J. AMAKA TO SUSPEND MINING OPERATIONS OVER ROAD, ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION

The Ogun State House of Assembly Committee on Environment has directed Ojibas Nigeria Limited and I.J. Amaka Group of Companies at Elegan Progressive Community in Obafemi Owode Local Government, to suspend their operations forthwith, following a petition over alleged illegal mining operations and environmental degradation. The Committee members led by the Chairman, Hon. Samisudeen Lawal, carried out an on-the-spot assessment of the mining sites in response to the petition addressed to the Speaker of the House titled: “Petition Against Illegal Mining Operations of Alhaji Tajudeen Abioye of Ojibas Nigeria Limited and I.J.
