YUSUF ADEJOJO FOUNDATION DONATES SCHOOL BAGS, EXERCISE BOOKS TO PUPIL


Hon Yusuf Adejojo Foundation again has lifted the spirit of school children in Abeokuta South Local Government area of Ogun State with the provision of 500 School bags and 5,000 Exercise books to help them excel in their studies 

While distributing the items, Wife and Managing Director of the Foundation, Mrs Victoria Fashola - Adejojo said the gesture was to ensure that Children under Abeokuta South Local Government have the best of Education and at all time be equipped with necessary facilities that would make them excel in the classroom 

Mrs Adejojo, who added that the items given were a demonstration of their representative Hon Yusuf Adejojo at the Ogun State House of Assembly’s love for education, promised to always make himself available when need arises 

The Schools that benefited are; St Peter's Anglican Primary School, Ake. ASLG Primary School, Aregba
Itesi Methodist Primary School, Adatan,CAC Primary School Lantoro,UAMC Primary School, Ijemo

Others are: NUD Primary School, Oke- Aleji, St Peter Claver, Oke-efon,St James School, Idi- aba,Baptist Primary School, Bode-Ijaiye, Christ Anglican Primary School, Iporo Ake and a Secondary School Saje High School

The  distribution of 500 School Bags and 5000 Exercise books was a continuous exercise as more goodies awaits the people of Abeokuta South state constituency one and its environs 

It should be recalled that Adejojo till date still operates a free school bus service which takes the children to and away from school daily.

428 OGUN PILGRIMS RETURN FROM HAJJ 2025, LAND SAFELY IN NIGERIA

The first batch of Ogun State pilgrims who participated in the 2025 Hajj exercise have safely arrived back in Nigeria. The returnees, numbering 428, touched down at exactly 4:28 p.m. Nigerian time (6:28 p.m. Saudi time), following a successful take-off from Jeddah Airport at 12:07 p.m. Saudi time (10:07 a.m. Nigerian time). This development was confirmed in a statement personally signed by the Amirul Hajj and leader of the Ogun State contingent, Alhaji Prince Samsudeen Adebayo Apelogun, who described the return as a significant milestone in the State’s 2025 Hajj operations. OGHA DIRECTS OJIBAS NIGERIA LTD, I.J. AMAKA TO SUSPEND MINING OPERATIONS OVER ROAD, ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION

The Ogun State House of Assembly Committee on Environment has directed Ojibas Nigeria Limited and I.J. Amaka Group of Companies at Elegan Progressive Community in Obafemi Owode Local Government, to suspend their operations forthwith, following a petition over alleged illegal mining operations and environmental degradation. The Committee members led by the Chairman, Hon. Samisudeen Lawal, carried out an on-the-spot assessment of the mining sites in response to the petition addressed to the Speaker of the House titled: “Petition Against Illegal Mining Operations of Alhaji Tajudeen Abioye of Ojibas Nigeria Limited and I.J.
