MAPOLY, NOW BETTER THAN WE MET IT- PROFESSOR ARIGBABU

Professor Abayomi Arigbabu, Honourable Commissioner for Education has said that Moshood Abiola Polythecnic is far more better than when the administration came on board saying the Institution could not even pay salaries at that time.

The Commissioner disclosed this in an Interview with Sparklight News in his office on achievements of the administration in the area of education since Governor Dapo Abiodun assumed office.

Prof. Arigbabu disclosed that the issue of Acting rector staying longer in office than necessary will soon be addressed saying government will address the issue of appointment of Rectors and Vice Chancellors in all instittuions in Ogun State which is not peculiar to mapoly alone

He also added that the Government is also planning to constitute the Governing Councils for all tertiary institution very soon.

“Talking about Institutions having issues, the world has issues, America has issues, Nigeria also has issues. Institutions will continue to have issues but management of whatever issue that comes your way is key”,Arigbabu said.

The Commissioner noted that Moshood Abiola polytechnic is far better now because it could not even talk of paying salaries but now, salaries are being paid as at when due.

Speaking further, Professor Arigbabu maintained that the Institution is not doing badly but the thing is that every institution will continue to have one issue or the other but what is important is to look at where we are before where we are now and where we are going.
