OGHA INVITES ONE ALHAJI KOLA OYEMOMI OVER ALLEGATION OF FORCEFUL TRESPASS, OTHERS



Ogun State House of Assembly, through its Committee on Lands and Housing chaired by Hon. Damilola Soneye, has invited one Alhaji Kola Oyemomi to appear before it over a petition against him and another land purchaser, Engr. Victor Banjoko, by the solicitors to " The Young  Agro Services Limited", on allegations of "forceful trespass, breach of peace and threat to life on the a private owned allocation lands at Idi-Tanki Village", along Abeokuta- Sagamu Express way.

The House Committee Chairman, while issuing the invitation shortly after an interface with some individuals involved in the land transaction; declared that Alhaji Oyemomi, who was continously referred as the principal individual in the said land matters must appear before the Assembly on Monday, 14th July, 2025.

The Committee warned that his failure to honour the invitation might result in the Assembly invoking its constitutional power to compel him to attend the meeting.

In the same vein, the House Committee has also directed all parties involved in another petition over land dispute in Ishaga Village, Owode Yewa, resulting in allegation of use of "land -grabbers to carry out judgement execution in respect of areas not covered by the judgement obtained" to report back to the Assembly with necessary documents.

According to Hon. Soneye, those involved should return to the Assembly on Monday, 14th July, 2025 with certified copies of the survey certified by the court judgement for further deliberation, while the owners of the affected buildings should come up with their surveys for further deliberation on the matter.

He also warned the judgement executors to immediately re-open a public secondary said to have been sealed/ closed down in the course of  executing the said judgement.
